Overview

Locuust is for writing serialized fiction in a notebook that you can take with you anywhere, publishable for anyone to read. It is open to everyone and meant to be a better home for stories than the sites that exist now.

The Notebook is what it is best known for: a writing desk with no cloud getting in the way, built by writers. The Android version works offline. The web version doesn't, but it actively saves your work without fail.

History

Locuust began as a private app for a handful of friends who wrote serials together. It opened to search engines on 10 October 2026.
